Despite faltering in the last day of the Mercedes Benz Masters Indonesia Golf Tournament, Filipino Juvic Pagunsan was able to hold on to the order of merit crown of the tour. He beats Nicholas Fung of Malaysia by just a mere $77 in earnings. Pagunsan earned $25,450 in 7 events of the tour. MBM Indonesia title went to Thailand’s Atthaphon Prathummanee who beat his compatriot Namchok Tantipokakul in a playoff. Other notable Filipino finishers of the tournament were Antonio Lascuna (Tied-5th), Artemio Murakami (8th), and Ferdie Aunzo (9th).
The top OOM Finishers of the tour were awarded slots in this year’s Barclay’s Singapore Open. The qualifiers are Pagunsan, Fung, Jay Bayron, Wisut Artjanawat, Panuphol Pittayarat and Thanyakon Khrongpha.
