Asian Games: Orcollo bags second gold medal for PH

Veteran Dennis Orcullo captured the gold medal of the 9-ball event in billiards of the 2010 Asian Games by beating compatriot Warren Kiamco 9-7. The finals became an all-Filipino duel when Orcullo beat Jeong Young Hwa of Korea 9-3 and Kiamco outlasted Taipei‘s Ko Pin Yi in their respective semifinal duels. The medals from the 9-ball event brought the country’s medal tally to 2-1-4 (G-S-B).

Miguel Luis Tabuena leads individual men’s play in gold by 3 strokes after the 2nd day of competitions.

Hagen Alexander Topacio is second in the first day of trap shooting after scoring a 72

The men’s trap team is running 4th

Swimmer Miguel Molina qualified in the men’s 200m breaststroke finals
