Jakarta, Indonesia – World No.1 Dennis Orcollo, defending champion Jundel Mazon, and fast-rising Carlo Biado qualified for the Round of 32 in the Guinness World Series of Pool 10-Ball Challenge after sweeping their first two race to six matches. Orcollo beat hometown bet Sumaryadi then handled Canada‘s Adam Smith 6-2. Mazon disposed of Indonesians Roy Apancho and Rico Herman. Carlo Biado beat countryman Jeffrey De Luna and ex-World 9-ball champ Thorsten Hohmann of Germany.
The elimination round is double elimination and the survivors will meet in a knockout format. It is expected that more Filipino cue artists will be in the knockout stages.
Telecast of the 2011 Guinness World Series of Pool – 10Ball challenge will be carried LIVE on STAR Sports, with fifteen hours of broadcast from July 15 – 17, 2011. You can watch the intense competition unfold at the following times:

The 2011 Guinness World Series of Pool – 10Ball Challenge is sanctioned by the Asian Pocket Billiard Union (APBU) and organized by ESPN STAR Sports‘ Event Management Group (EMG). Guinness is the title sponsor for the Event. All Indonesian Billiards Association (POBSI) sanctions the tournament locally.
