Jakarta, Indonesia – The knockout stages has started in the 2011 Guinness Word Series of Pool 10 Ball Challenge and 4 Filipino cue artists won their round of 32 match. The Philippine campaign was led by World No. 1 Dennis Orcollo. Orcollo ousted ex-World 10 Ball Champion Mika Immonen of Finland. The match ended 8-5 in favor of Orcollo who trailed 0-2 at the start of the match. The victory will pit him with recent World 9-Ball Champ Yukio Akagariyama of Japan who also happens to be the World No.2 ranked pool player.
Roberto Gomez, defending champ Jundel Mazon, and Jeck Limen beat players from the host country to book places in the top 16. Cebuano Warren Kiamco was not as fortunate as he lost Shane Van Boening of the US 8-4.
