2012 PBA Commissioner’s Cup: Championship down to 6 teams

It took an extra game day for the 2012 PBA Commissioner’s Cup‘s playoff picture to finalized. The Meralco Bolts eliminated Philippine Cup surprise finalist Powerade Tigers in their do or die battle for the 6th and final slot in the quarterfinals. In the main game today, the Barangay Ginebra Kings toppled sister team B-Meg Derby Ace Llamados to secure the No.2 seeding and outright semifinal seat.

Eliminated Teams:

Rain or Shine Elasto Painters (3-6)

Petron Blaze Boosters (3-6)

Air 21 Express (3-6)

Powerade Tigers (4-5)

Quarterfinal Match-ups:

QF 1: B-Meg Llamados vs. Meralco Bolts

QF 2: Alaska Aces vs. Barako Bull

2. Ginebra
