SEABA U-16: Energen Pilipinas drops Malaysia 91-64

BANTING CITY, MALAYSIA-Hours after the Smart-Gilas beat Malaysia in the Jones cup, the Under-16 Youth couterparts beat the Malaysian contingent in the 1st Southeast Asian Basketball Association (Seaba) U16 for Men.

The Philippines were led by big men Arvin Tolentino and  Gelo Vito who combined for 29 points. The Energen Pilipinas team started very strong and led 15-4 early in the game. They stretched the lead to 21 (40-19) with the help of poor shooting of the Malaysians. Zhi Hao Tan led Malaysia with 13 points.
